| Hello! I realize this is a few days old, but I'd like to reply: How Much and What Kind of Hay? Unlimited hay is crucial! This keeps rabbits' back molars worn down and keeps their digestive system moving. Babies (under 7 months) and pregnant and nursing does can eat alfalfa hay, but it's too high in calcium for regular adult rabbits. Most people feed timothy hay, but orchard grass is also safe. How Much and What Kind of Food Mix? No food mixes. Pellets, where all of the pieces look the same, are what rabbits should eat (Many mixes have unsafe foods like corn, which rabbits can't digest, and rabbits are picky eaters.) A good brand in the US is Oxbow (regular or organic versions are both fine; make sure you get the right kind for your rabbit's age). There's more, but I can't remember them. If you're in the UK, then sorry, I don't know any brands Most people feed 1/8-1/4 cup per day.
